This is a fantasy roleplaying game, but it also has some adventure qualites. In this game you wander in the world of Midkemia. You fight your enemies and complete missions to get further in the game. Your troops get better and better the more combats you get into. This game was really awesome when it came out. This is worth a try!

Eternal Daughter is a non-linear RPG. It looks kind of a old Nintendo RPG, but with better graphics and a lot better sounds. The non-linearity means, that you are not forced to do things in a certain order. So you can solve the puzzles in any order you like. You may also think of the game in a sort of platform adventure game. On your journey you get the chance to kill monsters or you may even try to make them your friends if you wish.

This is the classic of classic Free games. The game is an open source game, so you can download the source code and even write your own NetHack. NetHack is a text- or ascii based simple game, where you control the character of your choice. You move around in the dungeons, going always deeper and deeper. On your way you fight monsters and collect items that help you, such as weapons and food. You also collect money, and with money you can buy items from stores. The levels are created randomly, so you do not have to play the same levels over and over again. The deeper you go in the dungeon, the harder become your enemies. That is why your character also evolves and gets stronger. This is a real classic, I urge you to try it.
